Padmasana Lotus Posture

PADMASANA or Lotus Posture (concentration, meditation and pranayama).
It is the preliminary step to other postures or asanas.

EXECUTION PADMASANA or Lotus Posture: Sitting on the floor with legs together and extended. Double leg and place the right foot on the thigh left, as close to the abdomen, so that the foot is facing above the knee and remain in contact with soil. Now double left leg and place the foot on the right thigh, so symmetrical as to put the other foot. Keep the spine straight. Hands can be placed on the knees, a above the other on both heels, or keep your arms to support the wrist on your knee, thumb and index finger united by their ends and the remaining fingers extended.
