Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Patanjali points out some obstacles to the practice of Hatha Yoga, which include:
1 - Disease. Sick or broken in health can not practice yoga, which requires robust health through a lot of physical effort that accompanies it.
2 - mental weakness. You must have the mind alive, awake, alert and vigorous.
3 - Duda. Be determined and will be able to restrain the mind.
4 - Neglect. It is the most serious obstacle for beginners, who read and do not realize exactly what is read.
5 - Laziness. The yogi can not be lazy. The indolent and listless without force or will to act. How violent will be able to demand that the yoga exercises?
6 - worldliness. Clearly barrier have thought plunged in the things of the world.
7 - False concepts. It is an obstacle to be erroneous judgments and wrong thinking about things.
8 - misrepresentation. This obstacle is important in making it futile and vice versa or invest illogically concepts.
9 - Versatility. This barrier prevents the yoga and even in grade short of calling it futile. The man can not be versatile yogi.
